La Roma Records is a renowned record store in Mexico City, established in 2012.
The store offers a wide range of products, including LPs, box sets, cassettes, 7-inch records, CDs, books, and other formats and items. Customers can find an extensive selection of collector’s editions, limited editions, new releases, and reissues across various genres such as rock, metal, hard rock, rap, electronic, jazz, world music, cumbia, salsa, and pop, among others.
In addition to being a store, La Roma Records is also an independent record label. The LRR Label releases 7-inch, 10-inch EPs, and 12-inch LPs. Some of the artists featured on the label include Sotomayor, Meridian Brothers, Las Ligas Menores, Frente Cumbiero, La Banda Baston, and Amantes del Futuro.
The store actively promotes and participates in events, organizes album releases, and takes part in Record Store Day.
La Roma Records also has a branch in the Coyoacán neighborhood and another location outside of Mexico, in Bogotá, Colombia.
