The Troubadour is a historic music venue located in West Hollywood, just outside Los Angeles, California, USA. It opened its doors in 1957.
Many iconic rock artists performed at the venue early in their careers, including Elton John, Tom Waits, and Neil Young.
Over the years, other artists made memorable appearances as well. Pearl Jam, for example, performed under their new name for the first time on March 10, 1991—before that, they were known as Mookie Blaylock. Korn played their first Los Angeles show as the opening act for Corrosion of Conformity on November 9, 1994.
Today, the Troubadour continues to host a highly active and eclectic lineup, featuring many rock performances.
The venue has a capacity of around 500 people, who can enjoy shows from the standing floor or a small balcony.
The Troubadour bar serves hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, and other snacks.
