Casa Capitão

Casa Capitão is a cultural venue located in the Beato neighborhood of Lisbon, Portugal, hosting concerts by Portuguese and international independent artists.

In addition to live shows, Casa Capitão also offers parties, children’s workshops, film screenings, hands-on workshops, book launches, and food. The project was conceived in 2020 during the pandemic as a pop-up cultural space. After two years, the venue underwent a major renovation and reopened in its current format in 2025.

The concert hall is located on the ground floor and holds approximately 400 people. Casa Capitão provides a platform for artists and bands from a wide range of musical genres, including rock.

Artists who have already performed at Casa Capitão include Linda Martini, Destroyer, Water From Your Eyes, Mães Solteiras, and Wavves.

Casa Capitão also features an in-house restaurant serving full meals and snacks, supporting concertgoers as well as attendees of other events held at this Lisbon cultural hub.
