Zaccara

Zaccara is a independent bookstore tucked into the Perdizes neighborhood on the west side of São Paulo, Brazil.

This small, welcoming space is run by Lúcio, who has been living and breathing books and records for over 40 years. 

Alongside a carefully curated selection of books, the store carries a music section with titles related to the subject, as well as new and used LPs and CDs — including some rock titles worth digging through.

Literature lovers can browse the well-lit shelves in search of both classic and contemporary authors from across the globe.

If you’re after something specific that isn’t currently in stock, Lúcio can place a special order for you.

The bookstore is located at Rua Cardoso de Almeida, 1356. Is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 6pm.
