The Museum of Musical Instruments Berlin (Musikinstrumenten Museum), in Germany, collects and exhibits European art music instruments from the 16th century to the present day. Visitors can also listen to them in concerts and tours.
Approximately 800 musical instruments are on display out of the 3,000 in the collection, established in 1888. The museum showcases violins by Stradivarius, Gagliano, Stainer, and Krouchdaler, as well as transverse flutes by Friedrich II, among other relics.
The modern and spacious museum building also hosts events such as workshops, live performances, and guided tours.
Admission to the Museum of Musical Instruments Berlin is charged.
