Cogumelo Records is a historic record store and label located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Founded in 1980, it became a record label in 1985.

This iconic store specializes in heavy music formats (LPs to K7s) and offers the entire Cogumelo catalog along with materials from other Brazilian labels.

One of the main objectives of Cogumelo Records is to support the underground music scene in Belo Horizonte and other parts of Brazil, covering all segments of music from hardcore to extreme black metal.

Sepultura is the most notable band launched by Cogumelo Records. However, other significant Brazilian metal bands, such as Sarcófago, Mutilator, and Holocausto, are also part of the label’s history.

Cogumelo Records is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
