The Palacio de los Deportes is a historic multi-purpose arena in Mexico City, built for the 1968 Olympic Games, with a capacity of 24,500 people.
This large and significant venue hosts various types of events, including major concerts by Mexican and international artists.
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Ghost, The Killers, Caifanes, Nightwish, Placebo, Tame Impala, and Bring Me the Horizon are just some of the names that have taken the stage at Palacio de los Deportes.
The audience can stand on the floor (seating may be provided depending on the event) or sit in the two large rings of tiered seating.
The venue’s policy only allows spectators to bring a small bag, which must not exceed the following dimensions: 30 x 15 x 30 cm.
Located near Foro Sol, within the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, and other sports complexes, the arena is well-supported by nearby hotels and shops.
