The Brooklyn Paramount is a beautiful and historic performance venue in New York City, USA, originally opened in 1928. It reached its peak in the 1950s, hosting legendary performances by iconic Black rock ‘n’ roll musicians.
With a capacity of 2,700, the venue offers general admission floor, seating in two box sections, and balcony. The view of the stage is great, especially from the upper levels.
The theater has hosted legendary artists such as Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Chuck Berry, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Domino, Frank Sinatra, Little Richard, Miles Davis, and Ray Charles. After being closed for 60 years, the Brooklyn Paramount reopened in the spring of 2024 with a diverse lineup, focusing on rock and heavy metal concerts.
Inside the venue, there is a bar offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks and light food options.
Note that only digital or card payments are accepted, and guests are allowed to bring bags and backpacks up to 12″ x 6″ x 12″ (30 cm x 15 cm x 30 cm).
