The Hard Club is one of the premier venues for rock, alternative music, and events in Porto, located in the north of Portugal.
Housed within a historic building dating back to 1888, the venue is recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Architectural Heritage site. It’s situated just a few meters from the iconic Douro River.
Events and concerts take place in two spaces: Sala 1, the main and larger hall, has a standing capacity of up to 1,000 people; Sala 2 is smaller, accommodating up to 350 people standing.
Melvins, Epica, Sepultura, Black Flag, Dead Fish, Brutus, Abbath, Therion, Napalm Death, Black Altar, Tara Perdida, and Gaerea are some of the names that have performed at Hard Club.
On the upper floor of the Hard Club, there is a restaurant offering traditional Portuguese and Porto cuisine, including tapas and classic dishes. The restaurant is open until midnight (and until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays).
