Musicmaker is a historic musical instrument store in Dublin, founded on November 2, 1981, making it one of the oldest in the Irish capital.
Five years later, the store relocated to 29 Exchequer Street, in the heart of Dublin, where it remains today.
The space spans two floors, including the Drumgeon drum department, the Infinite Wonder ground floor, the Guitar Floor, and the beautiful wood-paneled acoustic rooms.
There’s a wide selection of instruments, equipment, and accessories: acoustic guitars, electric guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, synthesizers, and amplifiers. They also offer repair and maintenance services, as well as hosting workshops, masterclasses, and various other events.
Musicmaker is recognized by prominent musicians and rock bands from Ireland and around the world, including U2, Glen Hansard, The Script, Blondie, Muse, Manic Street Preachers, and The National.
The store is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
