The Marquis is a traditional pub in London with regular live music, founded in 1638 in Covent Garden, in the heart of the English capital.
The pub is housed in a building from the reign of Charles II (1661-1685), near several of London’s key landmarks, including Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square.
The charismatic manager, Tommy, contributes significantly to the atmosphere, offering live performances, a vinyl collection, events, and promotions.
In addition to classic beers and drinks, The Marquis also serves snacks and some dishes.
A fun fact for Green Day fans: the band performed a surprise acoustic show at The Marquis in November 2023.
The venue has also been featured in scenes from the films “Mary Poppins Returns” (2018) and “Last Christmas” (2019).
