The Solid Rock Cafe is Glasgow’s oldest rock bar, having opened in 1987. It’s open every day until midnight.
The venue has two distinct rooms: one with a classic vibe featuring a bar counter, tables, stools, and rock-themed décor with posters, images, and memorabilia. The other room, located in the basement, offers a more relaxed atmosphere with sofas, coffee tables, large TVs, and a pool table.
In addition to enjoying the rock music that fills the air, customers can take advantage of free Wi-Fi, a selection of beers, cocktails, shots, non-alcoholic drinks, and various food options.
The food menu is quite diverse, including appetizers, snacks, classic pub dishes, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and desserts.
The Solid Rock Cafe also has its own line of merchandise.
