Tokio Marine Hall is one of São Paulo‘s top concert venues and one of the most iconic in Brazil. Open for over 25 years, the venue has undergone several name changes, previously known as Tom Brasil and HSBC Brasil.

Despite these changes, the venue continues to host a wide range of performances, featuring both national and international artists, especially in the rock genre. Some of the big names that have graced its stage include The Killers, Machine Head, Edu Falaschi, Angra, Saxon, Nazareth, Tarja, Accept, City and Colour, Blind Guardian, and more.

The venue can accommodate up to 4,000 people, though the seating capacity is reduced during shows with tables.

How to get to Tokio Marine Hall

Tokio Marine Hall is located at 1281 Bragança Paulista Street, in the Chácara Santo Antônio neighborhood, in the southern part of São Paulo. It’s just 450 meters from João Dias Train Station (Line 9 – Esmeralda), making it easy to reach by public transportation.

There isn’t a metro station right next to Tokio Marine Hall, but you can take the metro to a station that connects to CPTM’s Line 9 – Esmeralda, such as Pinheiros (Yellow Line) or Santo Amaro (Lilac Line). From there, simply transfer to Line 9 and get off at João Dias Station.

Overall, the reviews of Tokio Marine Hall are positive. The venue has good acoustics, organization, and offers excellent views of the stage.

However, the chairs at events with tables are not particularly comfortable, as they are placed quite close together. In such cases, it might be more comfortable to choose mezzanine seating.
