The exhibition “U2: Made in Dublin”, located at the Little Museum of Dublin, Ireland, celebrates the iconic band’s journey over 40 years, showcasing an impressive collection of rare items, including signed albums, photographs, a Trabant car, and a life-sized sculpture of MacPhisto, Bono’s famous alter ego.
The narrative is accompanied by a soundtrack featuring rare recordings and stories about the band’s history, narrated by Irish singer and radio host Tom Dunne.
The U2 exhibition is part of the permanent collection at the Little Museum of Dublin, which also hosts exhibitions on other topics and offers guided tours. This museum was founded in 2011 following a public appeal for historical items, and today it houses over 5,000 artifacts that tell the story of Dublin.
At the moment, the Little Museum of Dublin is temporarily closed for renovations, which include installing an elevator to improve accessibility. You can visit a “pocket” version of this U2 exhibition at the temporary pop-up museum, located at 33 Lower Pembroke Street.
