The Velodrom in Berlin is one of the city’s most important multi-purpose venues and is part of a sports complex that was inaugurated in January 1997.
While primarily used as a cycling track, the Velodrom frequently hosts concerts, including rock and heavy metal performances. The venue has a maximum capacity of approximately 12,000 people for live shows.
Concertgoers can enjoy performances from both standing areas and seated grandstands.
Rammstein holds the record for the most performances at the Velodrom, with 9 shows, four of which took place in December 2009.
Inside the Velodrom, spectators can find several bars offering snacks, finger foods, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The arena is located in the Prenzlauer Berg district, close to the tram stop and Landsberger Allee train station.
