BP Pulse Live is one of Birmingham’s premier multi-purpose arenas, hosting over 100 events per year in the United Kingdom.
The venue is highly versatile, accommodating smaller, more intimate events for 5,684 people, or large-scale concerts with a maximum capacity of 15,685 spectators.
Throughout its history, the arena has undergone several name changes, previously known as NEC Arena and Resorts World Arena.
The venue’s programming is diverse and dynamic, featuring a mix of major international artists. Deep Purple, Biffy Clyro, Slash, Judas Priest, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Kings of Leon, The 1975, and Nightwish are just a few of the rock and metal bands that have performed on the BP Pulse Live stage.
Spectators can enjoy shows from the standing floor section (with seating available depending on the event) and tiered seating areas.
For security reasons, only small bags are allowed inside the arena. The maximum size permitted is A4 dimensions: Height: 30 cm; Width: 21 cm; Depth: 19 cm. This bag policy is now common across many UK entertainment venues.
Additionally, BP Pulse Live Birmingham operates as a cashless venue, accepting only electronic and card payments.
Located within the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), the arena is conveniently close to Birmingham International Airport and train station.
