Cine Lido

Cine Lido is a live music and events venue in Curitiba, Brazil – housed in what was once one of the city’s most beloved historic cinemas.

The original cinema was a landmark in Curitiba from the late 1950s and, at its peak, boasted the largest movie screen in the southern region.

Reopened in 2026, the current Lido spans around 3,000 square metres, holds up to 2,500 people and features six bars. The architectural design draws on the Art Déco and was crafted by João Uchôa — the same creative mind behind the stage design for Rock in Rio.

The venue is laid out across three levels: the ground floor standing area, the first floor with its lounges and private boxes. The upper-level seating on the second floor, which operates on a general admission basis.

The programming is eclectic, with performances from Brazilian artists and bands across a wide range of styles, including rock.

Cine Lido is located at Rua Des. Ermelino de Leão, 160, in the heart of Curitiba’s city centre, and is easy to reach by public transport.
