2112 is a bar/restaurant in Gothenburg, Sweden, owned by Peter Iwers and Björn Gelotte, members of the Swedish heavy metal band In Flames.
The bar’s name was inspired by the album “2112” by the Canadian band Rush.
The bar’s theme is entirely focused on rock and heavy metal, featuring photos, posters, and a variety of In Flames memorabilia. Guests can sit both inside and outside.
The ambiance and beautiful decor are not the only highlights—the food is equally noteworthy. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken, snacks, and some vegetarian dishes, along with a selection of beers, cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Prominent figures in the Swedish and global metal scene, such as Joacim Cans and Oscar Dronjak (HammerFall), Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquility), and Matt Heafy (Trivium), are known to frequent the bar when they are in town.
2112 is a must-visit spot for In Flames fans and heavy metal enthusiasts visiting Gothenburg.
