Cão Véio is a gastropub with decor inspired by rock music and canine references, which are also reflected in the names of the dishes.
Opened by partners Henrique Fogaça (chef and vocalist of the band Oitão), Fernando Badaui (vocalist of the band CPM22), and Marcos Kichimoto (sadly deceased in 2021, vocalist of the band Desaster and former roadie for Sepultura and Ratos de Porão), Cão Véio has four locations in Greater São Paulo, in the neighborhoods of Vila Madalena (the original), Vila Mariana, Tatuapé, and Alphaville (Barueri), and also in Sorocaba.
The menu features a variety of appetizers, main courses, burgers, and desserts, all crafted by chef Henrique Fogaça, along with a wide selection of beverages, especially national and imported beers.
It’s worth noting that Cão Véio has its own line of merchandise, including t-shirts and hoodies.
In addition to São Paulo, the gastropub has branches in Curitiba, Londrina and Goiânia.
