Covo Club is a small live music venue, hosting parties and various cultural events in Bologna, northern Italy.
Opened in 1980, this historic club provides a stage for independent and emerging rock artists and its subgenres from Italy and other countries.
International artists who now fill large venues worldwide, such as Franz Ferdinand, IDLES, Cigarettes After Sex, and The XX, have performed at Covo Club early in their careers. Notable Italian acts like Ministri, Baustelle, Afterhours, Calcutta, and many others have also graced its stage.
Events and concerts are exclusive to members of AICS (Italian Association for Culture and Sport). The membership card—which has a small fee—can be obtained through the AICS website and is valid for one year, from September to August.
The club is located at 1 Viale Zagabria and is accessible by public transportation.
