Eric Discos is one of the most traditional and important record stores in São Paulo, Brazil.
Opened in the late 1970s in the Pinheiros neighborhood, the store is owned by Eric Crauford, an English music lover and vinyl collector who has lived in Brazil since 1972.
This historic shop holds tens of thousands of used vinyl records across a variety of musical styles, including rock, Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), jazz, and bossa nova.
In addition to the physical store, customers can also purchase records, CDs, books, and other items through the official website.
Eric Discos is open Monday to Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with easy access from the Faria Lima and Fradique Coutinho subway stations.
FUN FACT: The charming shop was featured as a set in the movie Durval Discos (2002), directed by Anna Muylaert and starring Ary França, Isabela Guasco, and Etty Fraser.
