La Borratxeria Parrilla is a bar and restaurant specializing in grilled meats, located in the Pinheiros neighborhood of São Paulo, Brazil.
One of its owners is Jão, guitarist and founding member of the iconic Brazilian punk/metal band Ratos de Porão.
There’s also a second location in Vila Olímpia.
The menu focuses on bold Latin flavors prepared on a parrilla—the traditional Argentine-style barbecue grill. Highlights include empanadas, potato portions, savory sausages and croquettes, bife ancho and bife de chorizo, the classic choripán, and signature burgers. Every dish is prepared in-house with an artisanal touch.
To pair with the food, the bar offers a wide selection of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
The Pinheiros location is well-known for attracting visits from Jão’s friends-Brazilian and international musicians and artists who drop by for great food and good company.
Public transportation access is easy – the Oscar Freire Station, on the Yellow Line of the subway, is less than 1 km away. There is also parking nearby.
Right next to the restaurant is La Iglesia, a small live music venue owned by La Borratxeria Parrilla, hosting rock, punk, and metal shows and events.
