The New York Hilton Midtown is an icon of New York City’s history and culture. With nearly 2,000 rooms, it is one of the largest hotels in the city.
Throughout its history, this hotel has hosted some of the biggest names in music. From Elvis Presley, who held press conferences here, to the Rolling Stones, who called it home during their tours, and the Beatles, who stayed here before their debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. Legendary artists like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, and Stevie Wonder also stayed here during their careers.
Opened in 1963, this hotel has witnessed memorable historical events, such as the first mobile phone call in 1973.
But its connection to music is what truly sets it apart. It was here at the New York Hilton Midtown that John Lennon wrote the iconic song “Imagine,” on Hilton stationery.
