The Boardwalk was a live music club in Manchester, England, best known as the venue where Oasis played their first gig in August 1991.
Operating from 1984 until 1999, The Boardwalk hosted performances by several key bands in the Manchester and UK music scene, including The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, James, and The Verve.
Located at 21 Little Peter Street, the venue, which also served as a rehearsal space, has since been converted into an office building. As a tribute, a traditional Blue Plaque has been placed on the building’s charming brick façade.
