Vibra São Paulo, formerly Credicard Hall, and briefly known as Citibank Hall and Unimed Hall along the way, opened its doors in 1999. With a capacity of 7,000, it’s one of São Paulo‘s most established concert venues.

The lineup here is famously eclectic, mixing Brazilian and international acts across every genre, but rock has always had a strong presence. Over the years, Vibra has hosted Judas Priest, Motörhead, Eddie Vedder, Silverchair, Bush, Offspring, and Blind Guardian, among many others.

What it’s like to see a show at Vibra São Paulo

Sightlines are solid throughout the venue, whether you’re on the standing floor or in the seated sections upstairs (the mezzanine boxes and the large upper tier with numbered seats), when the show is set up that way.

For fans who arrive early, there’s a bar with live music in the outdoor area, which usually opens two hours before the main doors. It’s a relaxed way to build up anticipation before the show.

A fun bit of trivia: in the early 2000s, Vibra (still Credicard Hall at the time) was the venue of choice for a couple of heavy metal acts recording live albums. Brazil’s own Shaman filmed the now-classic RituAlive there, and Germany’s Edguy recorded Fucking with Fire Live

Sections and seating at Vibra São Paulo

Vibra has three main types of sections: the floor, the boxes, and the upper tier. The exact layout, whether there are tables, for instance, changes from show to show, but here’s what matters most:

Floor (Pista): the closest you’ll get to the stage and to the energy of the crowd. Depending on the show, this area may be standing only or include tables and/or chairs.

Boxes (Camarotes): a solid middle ground between comfort and view, set higher up and facing the stage directly.

Upper tier (Plateia Superior): the highest seats in the house, above the boxes, with a panoramic view of the whole room. It’s a good pick if you’d rather sit down and pay less for your ticket.

How to get to Vibra São Paulo

Vibra São Paulo is located at Av. das Nações Unidas, 17955, in São Paulo.

If you’re taking public transport, a couple of things to keep in mind: João Dias train station, on CPTM’s Line 9 (Emerald Line), is the best option if you’d rather walk the rest of the way, as it’s about 1.5 km from the venue. You can also just get off there and take a taxi from the station instead.

For the way home, the best spot to catch a taxi or Uber is the street behind the venue, Rua Bento Branco de Andrade Filho.

Parking at Vibra São Paulo

The venue has its own parking, but there’s no valet service. Staff never approach people on the street or offer to park your car, so treat anyone doing that nearby with suspicion.

There are two official parking areas, both paid:

Area A: right in front of the venue, entrance on Av. Nações Unidas, 17955 (with dedicated accessible spots).

Area B: behind the venue, same entrance on Av. Nações Unidas, 17955.

You can reserve a spot in advance through Uhuu’s website, which is worth doing since spots are limited. Reservations open one month before each show.

For both Area A and Area B, expect to pay around R$120 (about USD $22, though it’s worth checking the current exchange rate), including the service fee.

There’s no room for vans, minibuses, or buses. If you show up without a reservation, plan on arriving with extra time to spare — the parking areas open two hours before the show starts.

Hotels near Vibra São Paulo

Vibra São Paulo is situated in the southern part of São Paulo. This area has access to the Marginal Pinheiros train. However, staying close to the venue is always a great opportunity to walk to and from the show (or take a quick taxi ride), and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere as musicians and fans arrive throughout the day.

What you can (and can’t) bring into Vibra São Paulo

Before you head out, it’s worth checking the official list of allowed and prohibited items, since it can shift slightly from show to show. When in doubt, confirm with the specific event.

Not allowed: laser pointers, tripods or selfie sticks, alcoholic beverages, toxic substances, fireworks and other flammable items, sharp objects, firearms or bladed weapons, cups and glass containers, metal or aluminum cans, umbrellas, helmets, and professional cameras.

Allowed: prescription medication (with the original prescription) and food for dietary restrictions, with proof of the condition.

Photos and videos on your phone, without flash and for personal use, are allowed. What’s off-limits is a professional camera with an interchangeable lens.

Is there a coat check / locker service at Vibra São Paulo?

Vibra has locker-style storage for fans in ground-floor sections (the standing floor), located in the foyer and accessible from the moment doors open (usually two hours before the show).

Pricing depends on locker size — small, medium, or large.

For sections on the upper floors, you’re allowed to bring in a small bag or backpack, as long as it doesn’t get in anyone’s way.

Tickets: how to buy safely

Tickets for Vibra São Paulo are sold through official channels only, like Uhuu.com (or whichever official ticketing platform is handling the event), the venue’s own box office, or official physical points of sale.

Prices and seat availability are the same online and at the box office. The difference is that in-person purchases don’t carry a service fee.

The Vibra box office is located at Av. das Nações Unidas, 17955, and is open Monday to Friday, from noon to 3 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm.

You can buy tickets on the day of the show, subject to availability at that point. About an hour before the show starts, the box office also tends to sell any seats that were blocked or canceled. It’s not guaranteed, but worth a try if a show is sold out.

Tickets for people with disabilities: every section has spots reserved for accessible seating. That said, these usually can’t be booked online, to prevent misuse. In that case, just buy a regular ticket in the section you want and request accessible seating (along with one companion) upon arrival. Both the person with a disability and their companion are entitled to half-price tickets, subject to availability (up to 40% of each section’s capacity is reserved for half-price tickets). Bring your medical certificate on the day of the event, or an official photo ID that lists the relevant diagnostic code (CID), to prove eligibility. Common mistakes to avoid at Vibra São Paulo

Arriving after the show has started: Vibra doesn’t allow entry once the show is underway, out of respect for the audience and the artists. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Counting on valet parking: Vibra doesn’t offer this service — be wary of anyone on the street offering to park your car for you.

Walking from Santo Amaro station: it’s farther away and passes through an area that isn’t great for pedestrians. Stick to João Dias station, a bus, or a taxi instead.

Buying tickets outside official channels: the venue isn’t responsible for tickets bought outside official points of sale.
