Some of the biggest rock and metal bands will be hitting the road, playing in dozens of countries for special performances, from album releases to historic reunions, including Rush’s return to major arenas across North America, and Foo Fighter’s world tour across Europe, USA, Oceania, and South America.

ROCK & HEAVY METAL CONCERTS – Top Tours of 2026-2027
Oasis
The Gallagher brothers will reunite for a new Oasis tour in 2027.
Oasis has confirmed shows in the United Kingdom (Manchester, Glasgow, and Knebworth), Europe (Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands), and the United States (Las Vegas and Boston) starting in the spring.

U2
Driven by the release of the album Carnaval de Luz, U2’s new tour will kick off in Latin America in late February 2027, visiting countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. All shows will take place in stadiums, with American artist Beckas the opening act.
So far, only the Latin American leg has been announced. However, more dates may be revealed soon, along with additional shows in the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.

Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters have announced their 2026 world tour, “Take Cover”, with dates already confirmed across North America and Europe.
The tour kicks off in June in Oslo, before moving through dozens of iconic cities in Europe and USA.
The tour then heads to Australia, New Zealand and India later in the year. In the first half of 2027, South America joins the itinerary, with shows confirmed in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Slipknot
The American band Slipknot will return to the stage for a major world tour in 2027. The band will perform in England, North America, and South America.
London, São Paulo, Santiago, New York, San Francisco, and Boston are among the cities that will host shows by the band fronted by vocalist Corey Taylor.

Metallica
Metallica continues its acclaimed M72 WORLD TOUR in 2026, with the band set to perform across Europe and USA.
In October, the American band will begin a historic residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with several shows running through March 2027. The tour continues in May and June in other cities across the United States, with Limp Bizkit and Avatar as the opening acts.

Rush
The Canadian band Rush has announced their first tour since the passing of drummer Neil Peart (1952–2020). Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will return to the stage in 2026 for a series of 46 shows across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, joined by German drummer Anika Nilles.
The first concert of the “Fifty Something Tour” is scheduled for June 7 in LA, at the Kia Forum.
The tour continues in 2027 with shows in South America, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

The Strokes
The Strokes are set to embark on a tour in the second half of 2026, with dates across the USA, Canada, Japan, Europe, UK and South America.
The first leg of the tour runs from June through September, covering North America and Japan. The band will then head to Europe in October, with shows scheduled in England, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and Ireland.
Reality Awaits, the American band’s new album, was released on June 26.

Fontaines D.C.
Fontaines D.C. will kick off their new tour in the second half of 2026, with shows in the USA, Europe, and the UK. Spain, Italy, France, and England are among the highlights of this first leg.
Some European and UK shows have also already been scheduled for summer 2027, including two special performances at Slane Castle in Ireland.

System of a Down and Faith No More
System of a Down and Faith No More will embark on a joint tour in early 2027.
The bands will perform in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on January 15, and then head to Oceania, where they will play in Australia (Sydney on January 22, Melbourne on January 27, and Brisbane on February 1), followed by Wellington, New Zealand, on February 7.

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators have announced a tour across several countries in South America, North America, and Europe starting in April 2027. The shows mark the return to the stage of the project featuring Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy.
Argentina, Brazil, the United States, Germany, England, and Ireland are among the countries where the band will perform. Some dates include major European festivals.

Sepultura
The farewell tour “Celebrating Life Through Death” by Sepultura will have another European leg in 2026.
The legendary Brazilian metal band is scheduled to perform at major summer festivals across Europe, including Wacken Open Air.
The band’s final major show will take place in São Paulo on November 7 at Suhai Music Hall.

Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden continues to celebrate 50 years since bassist Steve Harris founded the band. In 2026, the British legends return to Europe with the “Run for Your Lives” tour, featuring a setlist focused on the band’s first nine albums.
After Europe, the band will perform in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and South America between August 29 and November 1, 2026.
The tour concludes in November in New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.

My Chemical Romance
After the “Long Live The Black Parade” tour swept across the United States in 2025, My Chemical Romance has announced more special performances for the first half of 2026.
The band is set to play in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and UK with dates confirmed in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, England, Scotland, Italy, and Spain.
There’s also another series of shows in the United States in August, September, and October.
