Parco delle Caserme Rosse is a green space in Bologna, northern Italy, that hosts rock and other music concerts during the summer months.
The Sequoie Music Park and BOnsai Garden are two seasonal events held in June and July in this spacious park. Typically, one or two artists perform each night.
Because the concert areas are relatively intimate, audiences enjoy good visibility of the stage from multiple points throughout the park.
The Sequoie Music Park can accommodate approximately 5,000 people, while the BOnsai Garden has space for around 1,500.
Europe, Deftones, Skunk Anansie, Alice Cooper, Fontaines D.C., The Hives, Millencolin, Cigarettes After Sex, Mogwai, The Interrupters, Fast Animals and Slow Kids, and Verdena were some of the names that have performed at Parco delle Caserme Rosse.
Both Sequoie Music Park and BOnsai Garden feature bars selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks.
Parco delle Caserme Rosse is located on Via di Corticella and is easily accessible by public transportation-just about 20 minutes from Bologna’s city center.
