ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Priscila Roque is an editor at Travel 2 Concert and a journalist specializing in culture. She holds a degree in Journalism from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (Brazil, 2005) and a postgraduate degree in Cultural Journalism from FAAP (Brazil, 2010).
At Travel 2 Concert, she writes the Rock Route section, contributes blog articles with concert tips, and authors the site’s newsletter.
Since 2010, Priscila has also run Cultuga, a project dedicated to Portuguese culture and tourism, through which she has interviewed artists such as guitarist Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme.
Her career includes contributions to Brazilian media outlets such as Rádio Brasil 2000FM, Jovem Pan, and Editora Saraiva, where she covered concerts by Kiss, Radiohead, Hammerfall, and Saxon. She has also worked as a professional concert photographer and published a feature on Eddie Vedder that made the cover of the Portuguese magazine Blitz.
A passionate music fan, she has attended 19 Pearl Jam concerts worldwide and closely follows the career of Myles Kennedy. She enjoys historic venues such as O2 Forum Kentish Town (London) and Cirque Royal (Brussels), as well as unique spaces like Waldbühne (Berlin).
Her dream music-travel destinations include Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre (Denver, USA), Arena di Verona (Verona, Italy), and exploring Seattle in depth.
