ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rafael Boro is an editor at Travel 2 Concert and a journalist with a degree from PUC-SP (Brazil, 2006). He has extensive experience in music coverage and cultural content production.

At Travel 2 Concert, he curates the site’s concert calendars, researches rock routes inspired by bands, and contributes blog articles with practical tips for concertgoers.

Over his career, he has produced and hosted videos on the professional tennis circuit and created features on historic music landmarks, including the Beatles in London and the Ramones in New York. He also served as editor of CurtaTênis, covering national and international tournaments, and has co-run Cultuga, focused on Portuguese culture and tourism, for over 15 years.

His musical preferences include hardcore, punk, and metal, though the first rock concert he attended was Oasis at Anhembi (São Paulo, 1998).

When traveling for concerts, Rafael prefers historic venues with good visibility and authentic atmosphere, such as Coliseu dos Recreios (Lisbon) and Sentrum Scene (Oslo).

One of his most memorable music-related trips was to California, USA, where he attended shows and expanded his collection at the iconic Amoeba Music store.

Future plans include seeing Rancid live, visiting Manchester (Oasis’s hometown), exploring Chicago’s main venues, and touring across Sweden to discover its local music scene. If he could, he would also go back in time to experience a Ramones concert.
