Sao Paulo’s Rock Route, Brazil
Sao Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, is an excellent travel destination for rock and heavy metal lovers. Located in the southeast of the country, the city is renowned for its rich musical heritage and is the birthplace of internationally recognized bands such as Ratos de Porão, Crypta, Angra, and Korzus.
In addition to the concert you’re planning to attend, if you have a few extra days in Sao Paulo, consider exploring the city’s rock route. Places like Cine Joia and Hangar 110 are perfect for discovering local bands. If you prefer live music in a bar setting, Manifesto Bar and Morrison Rock Bar are also great choices.
The Galeria do Rock is another must-visit spot for anyone wanting to dive deeper into the city’s music scene, especially if you’re looking to buy band t-shirts and rare records.
Record and CD collectors should also include Casarão do Vinil and Woodstock Rock Store in their itinerary – both are iconic shops known for their history and impressive selection of albums.
